This month’s updates help you stay on top of your team and save time on hiring. You can nudge employees to complete tasks, track hires who never made it to their first day, and automate applicant follow-up. Less things slip through the cracks and more gets done.

Sometimes a new hire unexpectedly doesn't make it to their first day which makes it hard to track what actually happened. The new Never Started status easily lets you track this to understand the impact and help identify solutions to reduce it.

Hiring process automation

Manual applicant follow-up takes up time you don't have. With hiring process automations you can automatically send an email based on whether you move an applicant forward or reject them. Now available in all paid plans!

Bugs that have been fixed over the last 30 days

We’ve been fine-tuning CareerPlug to ensure a smoother experience for you! Here are some of the key fixes we’ve made this month.

• Publish button now works on all job pages — The publish button intermittently wasn't responding on the job edit page. It's working again across all pages.
• "Save Draft" button no longer appears on published hiring processes — The Save Draft button was showing up where it shouldn't. It now only appears when relevant.
• Duplicate header on job forms is gone — Job forms were showing two headers at the top, now there’s only one header.
• Checkboxes in interview dropdowns now check correctly — Selecting checkboxes in interview dropdowns wasn't registering. They work as expected now.
• Share section added to the Jobs page — You can now find the share section right on the Jobs page for faster access.
• Job Close and Reactivate options now display correctly — The close and reactivate options were showing up in the wrong state for active jobs but not anymore.
• Job detail page has a refreshed design — The job detail page has been cleaned up and updated for a better experience.
• Interview dates now show the correct day — Interviews scheduled for a Friday were displaying as Saturday on the dashboard. The correct day now shows every time.
• Salary field now defaults to range — Jobs with a salary range attract more applicants than a fixed number. The salary field now defaults to range so you're set up for success from the start.
• Email message template drawer now includes all content fields — The create drawer for email message templates was missing key fields. Everything you need to create a template is now there.
• Create new message templates directly from the index page — A new "+ New Message Template" button now lives on the index page so you can create templates without extra navigation.
• Hired candidates now appear correctly in the Hired column on Board View — Hired applicants were disappearing from the Hired column. They now show up right where they should.
• Resumes and cover letters no longer get cut off — Some resumes and cover letters were being clipped on desktop and mobile with no way to scroll. They now display in full.
• Resumes are easier to read on mobile — Viewing resumes on mobile was difficult due to poor rendering. The mobile experience is now much improved.
• Offer letters can now be created without errors — Some users were hitting an error when generating offer letters for certain applicants. That's resolved.
• Calendar settings page no longer crashes — Some users were seeing an error when opening their calendar settings. The page loads reliably now.
• Rescheduling a cancelled interview no longer throws an error — Trying to reschedule a previously canceled interview was causing an error. You can now reschedule without any issues.
• Interview invites send successfully for all users — A small group of users were hitting an error when sending interview invites.
• Applicant profiles load correctly for all jobs — Some applicant profiles weren't loading and showing an error. They now open without a problem.
• Express edit saves correctly for all accounts — Editing a job via express edit was failing for some accounts. It now saves reliably.
