As of February 2025, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has begun increasing the frequency of Form I-9 compliance audits, including unannounced on-site visits. All employers should be aware of patterns and trends within their industries and be prepared to provide their Form I-9s in the event of an audit.
If you have more than 25 Form I-9s digitally stored in CareerPlug, please submit a request to our Hiring Expert team. This request must include the credentials and approval of the business owner.
However, if you only need to download a small number of individual digital forms, you can easily do so yourself.
Note: CareerPlug does not offer legal advice. If you have specific questions or concerns, the National Immigation Law Center recommends seeking legal counsel.
