How do I post jobs to ToolBelt?
Unique ToolBelt job templates will be added to your CareerPlug account. When you post a job using a ToolBelt job template, CareerPlug will send the job to ToolBelt, where it will be shared and promoted to ToolBelt’s database of crews and tradespeople.
How do I get applicants from ToolBelt?
Candidates will apply to your jobs directly on ToolBelt and then appear on your Applicants page in CareerPlug.
There are a couple of ways to identify your ToolBelt applicants. You can filter applicants by job and select only your ToolBelt job postings.
You can also filter applicants by source to quickly identify all of your applicants from ToolBelt. Click the Filters icon in the top-left corner of your Applicants page and select (or search for) ToolBelt using the Source drop-down menu.
You can also find a candidate's source by opening their applicant profile. The source will be listed just below their name.
What is a ToolBelt Match candidate?
ToolBelt uses AI to match top-qualified candidates with your ToolBelt job posting and automatically sends candidates who match your exact criteria to your CareerPlug account. ToolBelt Match candidates have not applied to your job posting. Instead, they are matched to your job posting based on the crew or tradesperson's ToolBelt profile.
These candidates will have ToolBelt Match listed as their source in CareerPlug.
Note: The best practice for ToolBelt Match candidates is to contact them, let them know their ToolBelt profile matched one of your job openings, and mention that you’d be interested in speaking with them.
Why is a ToolBelt candidate calling or texting me before I contact them?
ToolBelt has a unique feature that allows candidates to call or text you immediately after they apply for your job. This empowers candidates to reach out to you ahead of you contacting them. This is intended to speed up your hiring process, so be prepared for candidates to contact you shortly after you’ve posted a ToolBelt job via CareerPlug.
How much does ToolBelt cost?
Your franchisor has established a partnership between Toolbelt and CareerPlug and will provide you with access to Toolbelt. At this time, your franchisor is responsible for any costs associated with Toolbelt, and you should speak to them about any related fees you might owe.
How many jobs can I post on ToolBelt?
Thanks to the partnership between your franchisor, ToolBelt, and CareerPlug, you can post an unlimited number of ToolBelt jobs via CareerPlug.
How do I set up a ToolBelt job template?
Your ToolBelt job templates include job titles and job descriptions specifically designed to attract ToolBelt candidates. Do not edit the job title or job description of your ToolBelt job templates.
However, we do recommend editing the following parts of your ToolBelt job templates:
Job Posting tab
Location
Ensure your job template is associated with the right location. Use the drop-down menu to change the location, if necessary.
Benefits
Click to select any benefits your job will offer from the listed options. To advertise any benefits that are not listed, enter a custom benefit in the open field in the top-left corner and click the plus icon to add it to your job template.
To avoid duplication, ensure you don't select any benefits already included in your job template's job description.
Job Details
Choose the Employment Type (ToolBelt Full Time, ToolBelt Hourly, ToolBelt Labor and Material Budget, ToolBelt Piece Rate) for your job template from the drop-down menu.
Set the Desired Experience (years) for the job template using the drop-down menu.

Salary
Add salary information to your ToolBelt job templates. Select a Pay style and interval, and enter an Amount.

Applicant Evaluation tab
Resume
The Resume requirement will be toggled off for your ToolBelt job templates by default. You won't receive resumes from any ToolBelt job applicants because they are not required to provide them.
Prescreen Questions
Your ToolBelt job templates don't include prescreen questions by default. Do not add prescreen questions to your jobs because ToolBelt applicants don't have the ability to answer prescreen questions.
Hiring Settings tab
Configure the Hiring Settings tab however you'd like for your ToolBelt job templates.
Select Posting Status pop-up
The last step before posting your job is to set your job post status. Your ToolBelt job templates are set to Active by default. Verify that your job templates are always set to Active to ensure they post properly on ToolBelt.
Where will my ToolBelt jobs be sent?
ToolBelt job postings are only sent to Toolbelt. These job postings will not appear on your careers page or be sent to any other job boards.
