Troubleshooting: Fixing formatting on an Indeed job posting

If you look at your job on Indeed and see it as a giant block of text rather than formatted how you see it in your CareerPlug account, this is likely because you pasted your job description from a Word Document or word processor like Microsoft Word.

When you do this, formatting is carried over that cannot be processed correctly by job boards like Indeed, even though your job appears correct on your CareerPlug job posting.

How to fix the issue

We recommend you copy and paste your job description from Notepad or another plain text app and then format your job posting within CareerPlug.
