Handling rehires' Onboarding paperwork

CareerPlug defaults prevent you from assigning the same Onboarding checklist to an employee after they have already completed it. However, if you have made a rehire, you can work around this.

Cloning an existing Onboarding checklist

The first thing you need to do is to clone the checklist that you will be using for your rehires.

In Onboarding, navigate to Account > Settings and scroll down to the Checklists section. Find the checklist you want to copy and click Clone.

This will create a copy of the checklist, which you will need to rename. Make any edits to your checklist and click Update Checklist to save.

Assigning an Onboarding checklist to rehires

If you have not already done so, upload all rehires to Onboarding.

In Onboarding, locate the rehire checklist you created by navigating to Account > Settings and scrolling down to the Checklists section. Click Assign.

Select which users you want to assign the checklist to by clicking the plus icon (+) next to their names. Users you click will be added to Selected Employees. Click the Assign button to send the checklist.
