How job postings are ordered on job boards and aggregators

Your job posts may be ordered in different ways depending on where a job seeker finds your job.

Ordering of jobs on job boards and aggregators

On job boards and job aggregators, your jobs will be grouped by brand, then by job title (alphabetically, A to Z). There is no other sorting done by default.

For franchises: If a job seeker searches for your company on a job board within a particular zip code, and your company has multiple franchise locations in the zip code, all of your jobs and the jobs at other franchises will appear together, sorted alphabetically by job title.

We cannot change how your jobs are ordered on the job boards. However, if your account uses a job aggregator (CareerPlug sends postings for your company to an external company website so applicants can apply there), you can contact us if you would like to change the way your jobs are sorted.

Ordering of jobs on your Careers Page

By default, jobs on your Careers Page will be sorted by job title. An administrator on your CareerPlug account can change the sorting of jobs on your Careers Page.

Click Settings in your navigation, then click My Organization, then click Careers Page.

Click Edit Careers Page.

Open the Job List Settings section.

Under the Table Columns heading, find the Sort by drop-down menu. You can choose how you would like your jobs to be sorted.
