How salary transparency works

In recent years, many states and provinces have passed laws requiring salary information to be included in job posts. Job boards, such as Indeed, will remove job posts that do not contain pay or pay range, which is why we've added salary transparency to any accounts with a business that operates in an affected state to avoid impacting your job visibility.

This setting applies to all new jobs and any existing jobs or job templates that you (or users in your account) edit. The next time you create or edit a job post in a state that requires salary transparency, you'll see a revised message in the Salary section.

If you (or a user in your account) do not include salary information in your job post, CareerPlug will prompt you to enter required salary information.
