Job statuses

When you post a job, you must set its posting status to control where applicants can find it. Use the status tabs on your Jobs page to view your jobs according to their status.

Job Status	Description
Active	Your job will be immediately posted on your careers page and sent to external job boards. It may take up to 24 hours to appear on job boards.
Closed	Closed jobs are not posted on your careers page or any job boards. You can still access any applicants who applied before you closed the job, and you can still use this job's data in your reporting.
Draft	Your job will not be posted on your careers page or on any job boards. Use a Draft status if you want to create a job but don't want to post it anywhere just yet.
Passive	Your job will only be posted on your careers page. A passive job will appear on your careers page as a "Future Opening." In CareerPlug, you can find your job on the Passive tab of your Jobs page. The only way to "pause" a job posting. Changing a job from active to passive will temporarily slow applicant flow so you have the time to evaluate your current applicants before accepting any more.

If you want to post your job at a later date, select Draft as the posting status and then choose the date in the future when you want the job to go live. You can also set Passive jobs to post at a later date.

By default, new jobs are set to Active and may take up to 24 business hours to appear on job boards.
