Requests to purge applicant data

In efforts to evolve in the direction of CCPA data requirements and provide means for applicant data to be protected, CareerPlug has created a process to purge applicant data upon request.

Any applicant who's applied for a CareerPlug job can request their data be purged from our servers at any time.

The process to request this is detailed below. This process will be executed by the CareerPlug Product Team and confirmed back to the applicant.

Steps to request applicant data deletion/purge:

  1. Applicants can contact the CareerPlug Hiring Expert Team with a request to purge applicant data. Include the application email address and the company's name and location to which the applicant applied. The request should come from the email address associated with the application.
  2. The Hiring Expert Team will submit the deletion request to the Product Team and await confirmation of data deletion.
  3. The Hiring Expert Team will team confirm with the applicant that their data has been purged and inform the hiring company of the data adjustment in their account.
