Undoing changes made to an applicant's status in the hiring process

If you accidentally move an applicant forward in your hiring process, you can undo that action and return them to the previous step.

1. Navigate to your Applicants page.

2. Click an applicant's name to open the applicant's profile.

Need help finding an applicant? Click the " X" on the right edge of the Job Status: Active filter to remove it. This filter — which is on by default any time you log into CareerPlug — hides applicants from your closed, passive, and draft jobs from view.

3. On the Overview tab, click the green checkmark icon to the left of the previous hiring step.

4. Click the Confirm button in the pop-up to move the applicant back to the previous hiring step.

You can only undo one hiring step at a time. To return an applicant to more than one previous hiring step, you need to undo each hiring step individually. You cannot undo hiring steps that you have skipped over (i.e. steps without a green checkmark icon).

After you move an applicant back to a previous hiring step, this action is logged in the All Activity tab of an applicant's profile.
