If you need to cancel your CareerPlug subscription for any reason but want to retain the data in your account — as well as access to your account and associated documents — you have the option to purchase a data storage plan. This allows you to easily export applicant data and Onboarding documents from your CareerPlug account, and gives you the flexibility to maintain access to your account in the event you want to use CareerPlug again in the future.
About data storage plans
A data storage plan can be purchased as a 6-month subscription, which is billed semiannually. By default, data storage plans take effect on the renewal date of your subscription. How does a data storage plan work?
With a data storage plan, you will have access to all of your account's data even after you cancel your CareerPlug subscription.
This includes:
- Applicant documents and data
- Onboarding documents and data
- Your CareerPlug templates (jobs, email messages, etc.)
- Your CareerPlug account settings and configuration
You'll also still have the ability to post jobs to your own careers page. They just won't be sent to any job boards without a CareerPlug Pro or Premium subscription.
Export applicant data yourself
If you would like to export your account's applicant data, you can do it manually by running an Applicant Detail report.
This is another option if you do not want a data storage plan, but we find this alternative works best for companies with less than 50 employees in their Onboarding account.
