Use Autopilot Fast Track to speed up the interview scheduling process and reach qualified applicants even quicker.
In this article:
What is Autopilot Fast Track?
Autopilot Fast Track allows you to schedule interviews with new Fast Track applicants automatically.
Fast Track applicants — those who answer Fast Track prescreen questions with the desired response and meet your most important qualifications — bypass the Review hiring step and go straight to Phone Screen. The first time you contact these applicants will be on the phone during your first interview!
Note: Applicants will receive their first Autopilot text message within minutes of applying during standard business hours. If they apply outside of business hours, applicants will receive their first text message the following day at the start of standard business hours.
How do I use Autopilot Fast Track?
When you receive a Fast Track applicant for one of your jobs with Autopilot Fast Track enabled, the applicant will immediately start the Autopilot process of setting up an interview — no input is required from you.
Before you even have time to review a new applicant who meets your most important qualifications, you'll already have a phone interview scheduled with them!
The applicant highlighted in the above screenshot submitted their application and answered all prescreen questions with the desired Fast Track responses. When they entered your CareerPlug account, they moved directly to the Phone Screen step. They were automatically texted with an invite to schedule their phone screen. All of this happens before you've even had the chance to log into your account and see that you've received a new applicant!

Is Autopilot Fast Track compatible with Fast Track Assessments?
Autopilot Fast Track and Automatic Fast Track Assessments cannot be used together. Fast Track can automate sending assessments or Autopilot interview invitations, but not both.
If you have Automatic Fast Track Assessments enabled for your account, then you cannot turn on Autopilot Fast Track for any of your jobs.
The reverse is also true: if you have Autopilot Fast Track turned on for any jobs, you can't turn on Automatic Fast Track Assessments for your company.
What does Autopilot consider business hours?
Because we don't want Autopilot sending text messages to your applicants at odd hours of the day, we have set business hours for it to abide by within CareerPlug.
Business hours for Autopilot messaging are 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., including weekends.
The time zone is dictated by the time zone set for whichever user set up the Autopilot Defaults. If that user hasn't selected a time zone, the time zone will be set according to the company's default time zone. If the company hasn't selected a default time zone, it will be set to Central Time.
Note: The business hours listed above do not reflect the business hours for CareerPlug's Support team.
