Before you post your first job, we recommend that you configure your Careers Page. Here's an in-depth guide detailing how to do so.
Navigate to Settings, then click My Organization, then click Careers Page. Click Edit Careers Page, then add the following:
- Company logo: Ideally a transparent logo
- Company photos: 4-5 photos showing the culture of your company
- Color scheme: Ideally at least one color in Hex code format (ex: #FFFFFF)
- Company description: Include your mission statement, a brief history of your company, and company values. This information is targeted towards potential employees, rather than customers.
- Perks and benefits*: Let candidates know why they should be excited to apply at your company.
Employee testimonials* - Company video*: Must be a YouTube video
*These items are not required, but we highly encourage them because they can help sell your job opportunities to applicants.
Next, complete these steps:
- Remove other job postings on the job boards. If you have an existing active job post you've created on any job boards such as Indeed or ZipRecruiter, disable those before posting through CareerPlug. This helps prevent job visibility issues due to violating these job boards' duplicate posting guidelines. If CareerPlug becomes your one source of all job postings, this is easily preventable.
- Create the locations in which you want to post jobs (Settings > My Organization > Locations).
- Add other hiring managers to your account and specify their user access level.
