One-Way Audio Interviews
One-Way Audio Interview lets candidates record answers to your interview questions on their own time and lets you listen to them on yours. You’ll get to hear how they answer questions before spending time on a live interview! It also helps validate candidate interest which can mean less ghosting.

Bugs that have been fixed over the last 30 days
We’ve been fine-tuning CareerPlug to ensure a smoother experience for you! Here are some of the key fixes we’ve made this month.
- Applicants can move through the hiring process without an Offer Letter template — Some accounts couldn't advance applicants unless an Offer Letter template had been created first. Applicants now move forward either way.
- You can manage interviews again after your hiring process changes — Changing the hiring process could leave you unable to manage an interview. Interview management now works as expected.
- Contacted applicants now show as "Contacted," not "Reviewed" — Sometimes Applicants you'd contacted were still listed under Reviewed in Applicant Stages. They now appear under the right stage.
- Upcoming interviews now appear in the right order — Interviews were showing out of sequence. They're now sorted correctly.
- Job title errors caused by look-alike special characters are fixed — Hard-to-spot special characters in a job title could trigger validation errors. Titles now validate correctly.
- Day 1 Onboarding forms now assign when you mark an applicant as Hired — The I-9, W-4, and Direct Deposit forms weren't always assigned at that step. They now are.
- The checkbox now shows on ID and W-4 forms — Checked boxes weren't displaying. They now appear as expected.
- The Task Follow Up section on the Dashboard no longer lists employees with no overdue tasks — It could show someone who had nothing overdue. It now only lists people who need a nudge.
- The New Hire Welcome Email Template section is no longer duplicated — The section was appearing twice. It now shows once.
- Workflow previews now show images added to To-Do task instructions — Images in task instructions were missing from the preview. They now display.
- Template names now match the custom template options — Names didn't line up between the template and the choices for a custom template. They now match.
- Fixed an export error for RUN Powered by ADP® — Exporting a new hire could end in a "We're sorry, something went wrong" message. Exports now complete.
- Employee Pulse Survey exports for "Direct Reports Only" and "Full Team Roster" now return different data — Both options were returning the same list. Each now returns what its name says.
- The AI Assistant no longer says there are no applicants or jobs when only inactive ones match — Inactive matches are now taken into account.
- The AI Assistant now asks before taking you to another page — It could navigate you somewhere without checking first.
- Passive jobs can now be found by job title without stating the status first — You no longer have to say "passive" to find them.
