How applicants find your job

Initially, the applicants who apply to your CareerPlug jobs come primarily from the job search engines where CareerPlug automatically posts your jobs. Find a full list of these sites here.

Indeed is generally the largest source of applicants, with ZipRecruiter and Facebook Jobs also producing a number of applicants for most businesses.

To see which sources produce most of your applicants, try specifying a certain source in the Source filter on filters at the left side of the Applicants page.

First, expand the filters at the left side of the screen:

In addition to the job boards that we post to automatically, we highly recommend that you post your jobs to external sources as well, especially if you are in a competitive industry.

You can link any other job posting you create back to CareerPlug by using a tracking URL that we generate for you. This means that your Craigslist, CareerBuilder, or local university job postings can all be linked to CareerPlug so that all of your applicants apply through CareerPlug. This will make it easier for you to track, contact, and evaluate your candidates. Click here for help linking outside postings to CareerPlug.
