What is Indeed's Responsive Employer Badge?
Note: You must have data sharing with job boards enabled to share disposition data with job boards like Indeed.
Indeed offers a Responsive Employer Badge to employers who prove they are highly responsive to job seekers' applications. This badge appears on your Indeed job postings as a valuable endorsement that your business is highly engaged and committed to responding to applicants.

You need to maintain an Employer Response Rate above 51% to be eligible for Indeed's Responsive Employer Badge. Indeed's Employer Response Rate is a dynamic percentage calculated over the last 30 days and includes all responses made during the period.
How do I get Indeed's Responsive Employer Badge?
To get Indeed's Responsive Employer Badge, you must update the status of over 50% of the Indeed applications in your CareerPlug account from the last 30 days.
CareerPlug communicates these application updates to job boards via disposition data, which they use to track applicants' progress through an applicant tracking system (ATS) as the hiring process unfolds. Sharing disposition data helps improve the accuracy of matchmaking between applicants' skills and employers' requirements — connecting job seekers with opportunities and employers more closely aligned with their skills — and is required to be eligible for Indeed's Responsive Employer Badge.
Note: Disqualified applicants are excluded from responsive employer measures.

Do job boards reward responsive employers?
As the hiring landscape changes, job boards are looking to protect the applicant experience as much as they can. Because of this, the data sent to job boards regarding employer responsiveness is more important than ever.
By being a quality employer, reaching out to all your applicants, and moving them through the hiring process, you show job boards that you respect applicants' time. This can lead to better job visibility, which may translate to higher applicant flow.
