Candidates who contact you directly (or walk-in applicants) rather than applying through your CareerPlug job postings must be imported into your CareerPlug system before you can move them through your hiring process.
There are two ways to import an applicant into CareerPlug. You can either send the candidate the link to your Careers Page and ask them to apply online, or you can manually upload the candidate's information.
Sending the applicant a link to your Careers Page
You can find a link to your Careers Page by navigating to your Dashboard and clicking the Careers Page button at the top right corner of your screen. You’ll be redirected to your Careers Page, where you can copy the link in your URL bar and send that link to the candidate. With this link, the candidate will be able to apply to one of your jobs and answer any applicable prescreen questions.
Alternatively, you can email the applicant a link to a specific job. You'll do this by clicking the Share button to the right of the job you wish the applicant to apply to.
Uploading a candidate manually
On your Dashboard, click the plus icon (+) next to “Welcome,” then click Manually Add an Applicant.
You can also click the plus icon (+) on the Applicants page.
On the following page, you’ll select the job to which the applicant is applying. Enter as much candidate information as you have.
If you have an electronic copy of the applicant's resume, you can upload it. If you don't have the resume handy, type whatever information you do have into the Paste Resume field.
Click Save. The applicant will now be on the Applicants page and will be able to be moved through the hiring process, just like any other applicant.
