Managing multiple applicants at once

With CareerPlug, you can easily take action on multiple applicants at once on your Applicants page.

Watch this two-minute video about contacting multiple applicants in bulk or follow along below.

When you click the checkboxes to the left of multiple applicants' names, the Bulk Actions drawer will slide out from the left side of the screen.

In this drawer, select what you'd like to do with the applicants. Your options are:

  • Deactivate (make the applicants inactive and send them an optional rejection letter - highly recommended!)
  • Transfer to another job
  • Send an email Invite to a phone screen or interview (you can only use these options if the applicants are in the same step of a hiring process)

Need help finding an applicant? Click the " X" on the right edge of the Job Status: Active filter to remove it. This filter — which is on by default any time you log into CareerPlug — hides applicants from your closed, passive, and draft jobs from view.

Sending emails to multiple applicants at once is not supported when applicants apply to separate job postings or are in different hiring workflows.

4. In the Sending Email drawer, choose a template from the Select template drop-down menu.

5. Review and edit, if necessary, the Subject and Email content fields.

6. Click the Send Email button.

To send your message at a later time, turn on the Schedule to send later toggle and select a Send Date and Time for the message to be sent to the applicant. The Timezone will be set to your account's default time zone.
